Light of Africa (LOA) was founded in January, 2003 by N. “Butch” and Janet Berner. LOA is governed by a Board of Directors and is registered as an approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
Light of Africa’s primary purpose is to equip leaders to do the work of the ministry more effectively. Partnering with national leadership where churches have been planted with future plans to eventually turn the work over to nationals is the model followed by Light of Africa.
